Hailing from Mozambique, he is the country's foremost timbila (xylophone) player and percussionist.
For over 20 years, he has toured globally as a performer and composer of traditional, experimental, and fusion music. In 2013, he established the Nzango Artist Residency. He has successfully collaborated with numerous international artists across various genres, including music performances, theatre, dance, and film, and has recorded several albums. Matchume also released the solo albums Wata M'cande and Tributo a Ven芒ncio Mbande in 2017. In 2022, he obtained a master's degree from the University of Cape Town (UCT).

She also performs with the Okinawan improvisational theatre group 'Full Moon Improvisation' and a contact improvisation group. She currently conducts research and performance activities with a perspective that crosses Mozambique and Okinawa.

Born in Naha City. Graduated from the Faculty of Education, Ryukyu University, specialising in Art Education. Engaged in various activities within art, education, and the local community. Creates spaces for interaction and creativity that transcend age and status.
Also active as a member of the Uchinaaguchi theatre group Higa-za, and participates in theatre, performance, and music, including events featuring singing and sanshin.

Spring is the season for gathering wild vegetables. Families and friends gather the bounty of the fields, share it, and gather around the table. Wild vegetables gathering is a culture deeply rooted in the lives of Palestinians. Under Israeli occupation, this traditional gathering practice has been criminalized. Za'atar (a type of thyme with deep cultural roots as a culinary staple), akkuub (the king of wild vegetables), and other plants are, however, now commercial products cultivated on Israeli collective farms. Set in the Golan Heights (Israeli-occupied Syrian territory), Galilee, and Jerusalem, this work moves between fiction, documentary, and archival footage. Born in 1961. I became interested in the Lebanese Civil War, which was ongoing during my student years, and conducted historical research in neighboring Syria. While I started to visit Lebanon frequently in the mid-1990s, I visited Syria only once during the last 14 years due to the civil war in Syria. Palestinian cuisine shares much in common with that of both countries--it's colorful, highly nutritious, and full of truly delicious dishes. I hope to learn a lot from this film.

Born in 1961. I became interested in the Lebanese Civil War, which was ongoing during my student years, and conducted historical research in neighboring Syria. While I started to visit Lebanon frequently in the mid-1990s, I visited Syria only once during the last 14 years due to the civil war in Syria. Palestinian cuisine shares much in common with that of both countries--it's colorful, highly nutritious, and full of truly delicious dishes. I hope to learn a lot from this film.

He obtained an MSc in Visual Anthropology from Aarhus University. With a multifaceted background in visual anthropology, photographic criticism, business development, and design, he explores multi-sensory and dynamic approaches to qualitative research, design practice, and creative work that transcend the boundaries of the verbal and non-verbal. His field of visual-anthropological practice is the Province of Benguet, in northern Philippines. Her research focuses on shishimai (lion dance) and women's faith, primarily in Aomori Prefecture. She has also begun fieldwork on women in Vanuatu since 2023. In this event, we will welcome researchers who are active in the field of digital humanities to teach us about "regular expressions" in an easy-to-understand manner.
A "regular expression" is a way to specify a pattern of characters to make search and replace convenient. For example, they are very useful when searching for a specific word in a large amount of text, or when trying to find a word in a consistent format. If you use it well, it will make your work much easier.
However, it is also true that there are some tricks and unexpected pitfalls. In this workshop, we will introduce some "little tricks" for those who want to use regular expressions for the first time, or for those who want to learn them properly again.
